Department Marketing Statement: County Extension Agent - Assistant.  Temporary position, 37.50 hours per week. 
This position is located off campus in Charleston County at 259 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC.

Position Description:  Extension Agent - Assistant -    12 month, 37.50 hours per week Temporary Position

Job Purpose: Deliver the SC Palmetto Youth Leadership Program in the City of North Charleston.

Job Description:

1. ) Leadership for implementing, maintaining, delivering, & evaluating the Palmetto Youth Program   (20%)
 
2.)  Work w/Charleston County School District & Summerville School District 2 to identify youth to participate. (20%)
 
3.)  Identify community organizations and agencies that are mission-compatible with Palmetto Youth.  (20%)
 
4.)  Develop, organize, coordinate, implement, & evaluate after-school programs. (20%)
 
5.)  Organize a PYL Adv Comm; Responsible for CR, AA, EEO, financial; Seek continued support.  (20%)

Qualifications /Job Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required and experience working with youth is desired.

Pay & Work Schedule: Standard Hrs: 37.50 hours per week.
